Carefully treated? Works perfectly? Har.

Anyway, I'd love to see your guitar, Francesco. And please understand that my "Eyetalian" comment was meant in jest!

No offense taken by the other Italians on this board, I'm also sure. So long as the term Polack doesn't bother anyone...

Har again. I haven't heard THAT pejorative since I left Chicago for warmer climes in 1979. Out here on the Left Coast they think I'm Turkish or somethin'...

Interesting. This was intended to be a 12-string too, this job is much cleaner for sure with a veneer cap applied to the top of the headstock. Very cool guitar, Francesco. Your luthier did a great job.

yes he did....look at the headstock color finishing... exactly the same of the body...great job... the pictures cannot show the job in the side of the headstock... he put some dark wood in the tuning machine holes...you can't see any difference
But as I said before, I wouldn't have allowed anybody to modify the guitar TODAY

the guitar had the same plastic inserts... unfortunately I don't have any picture before my modifications...but it was 100% similar to the one on e-bay
and it has slim thin neck :-)
