Is Vox Talks site down?

Post by mr_gravy »

Have been trying since yesterday to get onto VoxTalks but it keeps dumping me to the Apache site. Also, the Patchtronix site is not accessible, says there is too much bandwidth being used.
Anyone have any idea why they are down? Thanks.

No, I don't have any idea or have heard anything, I'm sure they're working on it though....

There were still some problems over there - we kept losing posts. I can only guess that's what is being addressed, I think that's why it was down for a month, because people kept hacking it or something.
Hopefully Nick will put out an Email explaining the situation.

Thanks. I suspected it may be connected to previous problems.

For what its worth, I don't believe Nick is baby sitting the day to day VT operation these days.

I don't think he ever really did on the technical side of the site. This obviously was an ISP-hosting-server issue that they resolved.

Any suggestions, you ask? Try BeatGear Cavern instead. Image

Down again today... as of 545 p CST... this just sucks. Why can't hackers find some porn site to mess around with instead of something that is useful?

BeatCavern is down as well as the owner had "exceeded his bandwidth"...
