Re: RIP Kira Moon
Awful news, she was loved here on the RRF, and later Facebook. Lots of friends here, she will be missed.
And what a terrible way to go, that is devastating.

Re: RIP Kira Moon
I saw this on facebook.............just awful. I got to spend some time and jam with Kira at a couple of the BARC events years ago. She also came to some of the Guitar Shows in the Bay Area I went to when I lived in California. She was a lot of fun, interesting to talk to and a true individual. Rest in peace Kira Moon. You will be missed

A wonderful soul with so much kindness. She will be missed. I know she is hiking the trails of Heaven.

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Although I don't post or even visit 1/64th of the amount that I used to prior to August 2015, I had to post my thoughts.
Kira was such a great friend. I'm trying not to go through it all because I don't want to bore anybody, but it all started over a conversation about George Harrison, and snowballed from there. She had my back when it was against the wall and stood up for me when no one else would. She was someone I could talk to when times were tough, someone to vent to or have a laugh when needed, and we did have a lot of laughs. Although we came close to meeting up in person only once (SCARF 2011), I'm sure it would've felt like we'd known each other for years.
Although I've had some good times, great times, bad times and hard times in the four years since my last post as an RRF regular, this one has got to be the biggest sting of all.
Rest In Peace, you amazing woman and true friend. I know I'll never forget you. I'll play the Hard Day's Night LP to honor you.

RIP Kira Moon
I’m very saddened to learn of Kira’s passing. She was active in this Rickenbacker community and I had the pleasure of jamming with Kira at all the BARC events. A great person who will be missed by all who knew her. She wrote good songs, she did some work on Rics with Paul W and was quite a gear enthusiast. As I grew up in San Fran in the 60s, I would talk with her about some of the Bands and personalities from the era. God Bless you, Kira !
Re: RIP Kira Moon
She was indeed a wonderful person, and I am glad that she shared time with us on this Forum and at local gatherings.
Rest in peace, Kira.
