John Hall 4001C64 in BlueBurst!
Hi John. I hope NAMM was a Success!
Why won't you make any 4001C64's in the Color of the Year??? I want to Special Order it from Mike Parks but he said you will Not take the Order!
I'm sure I'm Not the only one who wants to Order One
I wonder how many 4001C64 you have made? I'll bet if you take our orders you will Double it's sales. Wouldn't that mean $$$$$$$$ Mo Money, Mo money.
or as I tell my Boss, Mo Margin Mo Margin $$$$$
The more margin we make the more sales commissions I make.
But this is not about money,
This is about having a C64 in Blueburst to play for ever and ever.

YES is the Answer!
Let him finish the rest of the "C" sereis guitars first. 4 down, 2 to go.

Easy, guys. I agree with John about the C64. The whole idea of the flopped headstock was to make it look like McCartney's bass before and after it was in its psychadelic paint job of the Sgt. Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour days. Yes, there are the odd black C64s out there, but these were finished that way due to natural blemishes in the wood grain. I'm just glad that blueburst is available at all.

That blueburst is such a nice color, and looks so good on a 4003, it's hard not to imagine a C64 in that color. But I understand John's point about it not being an authentic color for a vintage 4001 of that era. I'd be happy with C64S, to add to my V63MG and 4003MB sometime soon, if I can get the funds required.
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again
Keep in mind that the whole idea of the C series was to recreate several Beatles related guitars. It makes no sense to offer them in finishes other than those of the original instruments (aside from the odd Jetglo to cover wood imperfections).
The V series while being "reissues", are not "replicas" of specific instruments and therefore should be available in most of RIC's standard finishes. The only drag for us bass players is that there currently isn't a V series bass.
