August 29 Candlestick Park

Post by roadrunners »

Reccomended listening.....the live recording of this show. The recording itself isnt to special, assuming it was probably recorded on a machine brought inside the stadium by a concertgoer. But its very cool to hear

The only reason that hole in the ground, Candlestick Park, shouldn't be torn down is because of that concert. Other than that it should be a parking lot.

The way the 49ers played this year, make sure they are in the park when it comes down!

Next question... Where do you recommend obtaining a copy of this recording? ;) I'd love to hear it.

I have this ansd will happily provide a copy to anyone who wants to mail me a blank Cd-r and return postage.

BTW, it was Tony Barrow who brought in the tape recorder, at the request of Paul McCartney....Long Tall Sally is cut off after about :45 because the tape was 30 minutes..
