Since I've been encouraged to keep posting here I thought I'd share one that I recorded a few months ago. I've always loved reggae music so from time to time I'll try and write something in that genre. On all my recordings I use my Rick 330, but with this one I have a small confession. During the recording a friend came to visit and brought his new guitar to show me. The rhythm, and the wah-wah part had already been recorded with the 330, but the short solo hadn't. So I used his new Tele for that, which pleased him immensely! It was a nice guitar actually and I enjoyed playing it. I only have one Rick so I may get a cheap Tele as a standby for gigs. It kind of lacked something tho that the Rick has and I couldn't quite put my finger on it...maybe it was resonance. Anyway, 'Easy Lovin' is a very simple, compact, 3 chord song that was made up during recording. It consists of drums, bass, and (unusually for me) 3 guitar parts; rhythm, the wah-wah, and the lead break. 3 vocals (2 harmonies on the chorus). We're learning it with the band, but I'm not a very good guitarist and so am struggling to play the wah-wah part and sing at the same time. Sure I'll get there in the end!
Hope you enjoy this one and thanks for listening.

Easy Lovin' - Rya
Re: Easy Lovin' - Rya
Thanks for the addition, Stuart. I enjoyed Easy Lovin'. Thanks for the ear worm too which is bouncing around in my head.

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
