Hi Chris,
You can get one from Mike Parks here: Mike Park's Place

Look under accessories at the bottom Part number 97000 $75

You can also have a simple stereo to twin mono cable made. I've got both, and there's no difference in the sound.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Chris. Have you ever used one of these in the past? If so, did it make a positive difference in your sound?

You know guys, I've been playing my 4001 since I bought it in 1985, and I never knew how to run that bass in stereo. It was a question I always asked but until I found this forum, no one could answer me. Thanks guys.

I run Ric-O-Sound on my 4003 all the time, I use the twin outputs into an Ampeg amp with twin channels. I"m able to then set each channel's tone and volume to match my taste for each pickup, so they both sound great individually.

When I select both I get a wonderful tone, with more volume and that lovely tube overdrive, since I'm now running both pre-amp channles simultaneously into the power amp.

Hi Chris, I don't think Mike sells them, I just looked and the place I got mine is now out of business. You should be able to find someone to make the cable fairly easy on the Net.

Canare stereo instrument cable, a Neutric Right Angled Stereo Male, and two Neutric right angled males, and that's it.

I got a 30ft cable maded up for about $35

Thanks Jim, I'm running an old Sunn with 2-15" JBL's and I have a Marshall running 4-10's with a horn tweeter. I also have a digitec twin tube preamp with a PV eq. That Rick-o-Sound should sound great thru that system. You guys made my day.

Ric still has them and they are much quieter than a stereo-mono cord, unless you use really good cord. they will pick up lights and line buzz very easily, The ric-o-sound boxes are quieter. they will ocasionally surface on ebay also, but I've seen people bid higher than they are brand new. Brand new ones are around, check the different online Ric dealers.

That's why I suggested Canare Cable or an equivalent with Neutric jacks, and not just any stereo cord. I've no problems with my custom cable at all, and I'm running into a 35 year old tube head.

Chris, you could try asking Mike, he might know where to source somthing.

In your case though the ROS box maybe a better way to go, this will let you run one cable from your Ric to the box, and then split out to cables of an appropriate length at the heads.

The custom cable was made to plug into a single head and the tails are less than a foot long, not surrer this would work for you with your setup.

Mike Parks has ROS boxes !!!

Thanks guys, I'll check into a new one from Mike Parks. Like you said, on E-bay some people pay insane prices on things.
