325c64 miami

Post by john »

hi all some 325 miami info i have had my 325c64 miami on order from a big music outlet and not guitar center either., but it has been on order for over a year and a half. it was to arrive sometime here this febuary 2005. well anyway. i have been informed thru rickenbacker itself., ( kenny). there is still no actual release date yet for it, at the earliest this coming august., or he said maybe not till this time next year, he is not quite sure he said. yikes!!!%*%&%*wow!! and i waited for about 10 months to get my 325c58 hamburg in jetglo, which i did get in mid september. and the miami is my true HOLY GRAIL.,just do not understand rickenbacker at all. well all the best to everyone. i will wait forever i guess until it arrives.

Well, Nick, you can be sure it will be worth the wait. How did it feel when you saw and played your Hamburg for the first time? Was it worth the wait?

Rick is legendary for quality, but as with many small companies, they have to manage their resources very carefully, so things can take a bit longer than anticipated.

Why not take some time in between to build up your Rick collection? Lots of other nice Ricks there in stock for delivery.

Welcome to the Forum. Enjoy your stay here. Lots of good people and terrific clearing house for useful and entertaining stuff!

I know I've said it a million times, but I'm ok with the timeline, because it'll definitely be worth the wait. Of course I've only had a 360/12C63 on deposit for 5 months, but it's been on my radar for quite some time. Plus, I know that once I have the guitar, I'll keep it forever, so I'm really just thankful that a Hari-spec 12-string is in the works.

Infact, I'm thrilled with Gretsch and Rickenbacker for releasing Beatlesque models, because George is the reason I picked up a guitar in the first place!

Waiting is just built into the process. We all waited. I waited 2 years for the basses and... what another year for the 325C58's? Whats another year or so for the rest.

When all the C series is done and everyone has one in their hands - won't it be sad that there will be nothing to wait for anymore? I think so.

You could always just cancel your order and go out and buy a reissue Fender.Image Of course I'm just kiddin'! Aren't you glad that you just can't go down to the local GC and buy a nice RIC? That's what makes 'um so special.

HEY! I love my reissue Fenders'! Not more than my RIC's, but I love them nonetheless.

RIC orders are always filled as they are received...I think. Anyone who knows RIC just plans the wait as part of the process. Although the "C" series seems to be longer than usual. I will admit that I was not pleased with the wait for my "C" series instruments (I have all four that have been released to date)but it wasn't unexpected. If you know this going in, then you should be able to handle the waiting period. I don't believe cancelling the order helps. Now those people won't have the guitar at all.

I am a huge rick fan of coarse, but I would have to agree on the wait.It isn't fair for the people have already spent the money and don't have the slightest clue on delivery.I will buy a c-64 after they deliver, but based on the lack of information on delivery I will never pre-order from rick. Not to bad mouth rick,I think they make great guitars and I am very greatful for the c- series guitars, but I don't understand why they give a date.Even if its a year from now,and they actually deliver in a year, thats better than no info. This my honest consumer opinion, and I have no experience in the guitar buisness so I mean no offense to John Halls performance as rickenbacker CEO.

So... now that the 360 C63/12 is starting to ship, when will this one be ready? I just thought I would be the first to say something. Image
