New 4003 Jetglo

Post by JWR »

I thought I’d post about a new 4003 Jetglo I got this week. I’ve bought 3 brand new Rics since 2012 and the quality coming out of the factory is quite good. The finish appears much nicer than my 2014. Pickups, good. No tail issues. Old bridge but I’ve never has an issue. Things seem to be slowing down around here. I’m still stoked every time a new bass arrives

I agree with the comment about things being quiet around here, sadly there seems to be more activity over on Faceplook

Here's a "few" of mine, all but the end one (1973) are post 2012 purchases. I went a long long time with only two Fireglo's, then opportunity presented itself ..... over, and over, and over, and over, and over .....

Very nice collection. I’d like to find a beautiful fire glow. The fun is in the search.

Jim if it is too quiet, create some good discussion. :) This is harder to do than just "liking." Also later on when you come back here you can find information through the search for the last two decades. Not so easily done on Facebook. I appreciate your comments, please keep them coming. Gorgeous collection.

Interesting case lying there. Is that what the Rick came in?

Those are very nice cases. I have two of those, for my Martin Keith Elfins.

That case holds a 2004 CIJ Geddy Jazz. The new rics still come with the nice skb cases.

I've a similar case, that one holds a nice 73 Fender Jazz.
Case is really well made, TS approved, waterproof and not too heavy either

Jim love the family portrait. Thanks very much for posting it. Please let me know what differences you have noted with regard to playability, or tone with regard these three Rickenbacker basses. :)
