What they had for sound equipment and PA at those early venues could not keep up with the screaming.

My dad took my sister to see them in Chicago, 3p, Friday, August 12, 1966, 26th row, center. John had apologized to the press the night before for his Jesus remark. Dad said the first band was loud and the sound got louder for each successive act. The Beatles were loudest but you couldn't hear them most of the time for the screaming. He was shocked when the girl in the next seat started climbing up on him to get a better look!admin wrote:What they had for sound equipment and PA at those early venues could not keep up with the screaming.
