New Rick owner

Greetings, checking in to see if I am hooked up. I am a new Rickenbacker owner. 1983 4003 white. Last March two friends grabbed me by the collar and said "we're starting a band and you are the bass player". Never played before but always wanted to be in a band. Now at 51 it's happening. The new bass is quite a step up from the Ibanez gsr 200 I started with. Very sweet and in great condition.
