One thing i noticed on this bridge when i removed strings to take off the pickup covers was that the little rollers the strings sit on are threaded and very easily can be moved when pulling the new strings through. Not ideal but worth remembering when changing strings in a hurry.cjj wrote:The word is that it will become the new standard bridge, probably when the stock of old ones runs out. But who knows for sure?
Here's the best picture I've seen so far...

Might be possible to use a very (very) small amount of thread lock (Blue) to hold the roller in place once situated in the correct position

Or perhaps even better, Loctite 222 (purple) low strength threadlocker...thx1955 wrote:Might be possible to use a very (very) small amount of thread lock (Blue) to hold the roller in place once situated in the correct position
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I bought a 4003 Jetglo in January and it has the old bridge. I didn't care as it appeared to me that availability of was low. Dave's always seems to have what I am looking for. Even Wildwood was out, plenty of lefty and five strings
