Ron, do you think I ought to do the stacked knob treatment to this one?

Sure, why not? I thought that your Ci with the concentric knobs sounded great when I saw it at the store a few weeks ago.

Here's a good one - I just received an email offer from someone interested in buying it if I don't like it. I guess there were a lot of lookers.

Well the bass arrived today and it is fantastic! It has a really sweet neck profile and is a tad brighter than my Ci. The only knock was that it had Rotosounds on it (not my favorite) and the action was set very low to the point of buzzing. I restrung it with Dean Markley medium lights and just need to tweak the setup. My wife was really impressed with the color. I think it's a keeper.

Gee, with all these Rickenbackers you're getting, do you really still have room for your Fenders? Image

Fenders? What are those? Image

Actually, I picked up a Fullerton-made 62RI J-Bass and may part with my 75 RI J-Bass. So I'll still have one Precision Bass and one Jazz Bass, but the Rics are my main basses of choice..
