Just spotted this new book Finding Fretless: The story of George Harrison’s mad guitar. This fretless model was gifted to Harrison in Los Angeles while Harrison was staying there in 1967.
Returning to the UK, it was used by Harrison and John Lennon on sessions for ‘Happiness is a Warm Gun’ and ‘Helter Skelter’.
The book is a history of Bartell and Barth guitars.
