The minimum bid ($1276) may be O.K. because Mike Parks sold one like it for $1295. I don't know when he sold it. One could gamble that if it doesn't sell, the seller will relist it with a lower minmum bid ...
I paid less for my 450v63s (one BG and one JG), but it was something like 4-5 years ago.

Thanks Gary. I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens. I appreciate the input.

I'm still in the market for one of these, but I can't see paying what this guy is asking for it. Granted these have become very desirable and collectable now, but way too many people out there have $$$$$ in their eyes when it comes to something that has a Beatle connection attached to it. One sold on Ebay back in March of 2003 for around $850.00! I'm still kicking myself for not going for it!!!
Jeff! If you were here, I'd kick you too! lol. So what would you think was a fair offer? I don't know much about these guitars, or the quality so that is why I am asking.
Thanks

Brian, if I could go for one right now and the seller in question wasn't too over-the-top, it would probably be around $1,050 or $1,075 give or take. It would have to be DEAD MINT or close to it though! That's why I'm kicking myself over the one that got away on Ebay two years ago. That one was never played and it still had the warranty card that was never mailed in! Oh well, C'est La Vie!

Here is the link to the 450/425 production numbers. Ric site has a lot of old information on it, but no way to search. I just happened to bookmark this along time ago. I love these guitars.
