Jetglo Pearlstar I believe. Yep, looks real nice.

Very swanky. Like it.
Except for the knobs. I'd swap 'em out for the vintage black ones.

Just bought one from guitar center a couple weeks ago. I love it, it’s actually a 4003SW painted in a sparkly black finish. I pulled the trigger on it because it has a lacquered fretboard which you can’t get on any other new Ric bass as far as I know.

Yep, Jetglo Pearlstar is the finish designation. As far as I know, they were a special run of 10 made for Sweetwater. I bought the last one they had in stock several years back. I'm told the body wings are walnut under the sparkly black paint, but I don't know if that's true or not. That might account for the slightly warmer sound it has compared to my other 4003. The pickups seem to be more aggressive as well to my ears. Don't know if they actually are, or if it's just me. At any rate, I love the flashy look of it.

If it's a bit lighter than normal (<=9 lbs), it's likely to be walnut body, not maple.
