650D Fretboard Dots

Post by Ratwax »

Hi Folks. I've picked up a '98 650D today, in a generally good, but dirty, condition. It's missing one of the two fretboard dots at the 24th fret. The generic replacement dots I can find online are too big. Can anyone recommend a supplier for the correct, or near size, dots? Also, best adhesive to use?

Thanks for your help.

FWIW, I found some gerneric dot markers of the correct size a few months ago, and I finally got to fit the replacement yesterday. The diameter was spot-on, but it needed to be sanded down to not sit proud. All done now, and seated with a bit of CA glue.

The end result is I have something like 49 dot markers left over. So, if anyone is in need of one or two (or 3 or 4), I'm happy to send them your way for the price of postage from OZ.

Cheers,

Andrew
