Were any 4003SFL ever made?
Or just 4003FL?

I found this S5 in the register, but unless it was radically modified, I have my doubts it was RIC factory built.

The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!

You'll find a photo of one in my book (page 75 of the first edition, page 77 of the second edition), along with fretless examples of several different models.

Hey, Joey! No, that one belongs (or belonged maybe) to Bill Henshell. Gary's is the fretless set-neck 4000, also in the book.

Gary had so many stolen that I forget which ones he said were recovered.

Thanks, folks. It's hard to believe it has been ten years since the first edition came out - six years since the second!

FYI, I still have my 4001S/FL. Just played it on an album for a friend of mine which should be out soon.
