Hello all,
What does anyone know about 4001s with black binding? I'm currently watching an early 80's Jetglo model that I'm quite attracted to.
Boyer's book seems to suggest its merely white binding with a Jetglo finish applied over it. Is the finish durable on a plastic surface?
How common was the black binding on a Jetglo?
Any help anyone can give is much appreciated.

The option was called Black Trim (BT). Black binding, pickguard, TRC, and hardware. Some finishes came stock with BT. There were also some rare pinstripe binding JG's.

This one has all that but silver hardware. I kind of prefer that to black though, it contrasts nicely.
