Thanks to you all for the comments.
The 4004cii doesn't have walnut wings, but the body is the maple-walnut-maple sandwich.
The Blackstar came with the chrome jackplate and neck pickup surround. I believe the bridge pickup cover for these is also chrome. Anyone know for sure? No Jaymi, that's not the serial number. Mine is about 630 earlier.
I love the 2030s. I definately play them the most. I got the Fireglo 2030 from Tom Gallo from what I remember. He didn't like the weight. I don't mind. It's got some finish checking going on, as well as slight belt buckle rash and the average nicks and dings. I scored the white '86 2030 at the Guitar Center in Boston during a July 4th sale for $200. The had advertised it as the Rickenbacker Gumby model. This is definately my favorite of the 2, the neck is slightly thinner front to back and side to side, plus I've worn it in quite a bit. It's got some nice discoloration from resting my forearm on it. This sucker really cuts through a band and sounds really good on tape. I've always gotten a comment about how killer it sounds when recording.
The 4001 FL was an Ebay score. It had a Badass brigde that I took off as soon as I could score a real bridge. I've been thinking of putting a vintage style pickup in this one.
I got the flamebass from John Slog's Guitar Villa about 10 years ago. I saw it and had to have it. You can see about quarter inch of the original fireglo finish underneath the pickguard. It also has Martin tuners, exactly like the one on my Martin EB-18. I guess they make sense as replacements when you realize that I bought it in my hometown of Nazareth PA. The flame bass is definately my baby. I even got blue flames tattooed around my right wrist. This one plays like a champ. Even whimpy guitarists find it a breeze to play. Oh yeah, the best part of the flame graphics are on the back.

Jeff that is thee coolest FG finish I have seen. In fact, it was your pix that lit my fire to go find one. I think I first saw it on the Fireglo thread along with Bob, Jeff's, Pauls and the two Ken's and from that moment on I knew I had to have one. You guys inspired me and made me a much happier guy this week! Thanks for all you guys suggestions, patience and inspiration!!
