Hello, All —
It’s my first time posting — please be gentle…
I just purchased a ‘19 360/12 FG and removed the truss rod cover (to begin diagnosing/correcting a minor neck twist). I noticed that the truss rod nuts/threads and alum plate have what appears to be FG overspray on them. Does RIC apply color AFTER the rods have been installed (indicating that these truss rods have never been touched) or is this a sign of some type of repair/refin?
2019 truss rod paint?

Well, NEVERMIND!
I just found a Premier Guitar YouTube “RIC factory walk-thru” video — and the truss rods are inserted in the CNC’d neck before the fingerboard is glued on, and waaaay before the instrument heads to Finshing.
So there!
