Replacement TRC and possibly Pickguard

Post by dlmarquez »

good evening all! I have decided that I simply must replace the truss rod cover on my Ric bass.
It’s a 2008 factory fretless 4003.
The bass currenly has a black TRC, and a black pickguard. This bass has been modified into a single pickup fretless 4003 and I am also thinking hard about replacing the pickguard as well.
It would be a white TRC for a 2008 4003
The Pickguard would be a white 4000 style single pickup pickguard.
Any suggestions on the best source for these items?
Thanks in Advance

Pickguardian for the pickguard.

Maybe someone here would want to swap your black TRC for a white one?

I have a standard white truss rod cover that would work for you. I'm not really interested in trading for a black one though. I could sell this one for $40 shipped if you're in the U.S.
I like Rickenbacker basses, especially the good ones.

Yep, I am at about 5 degrees north Latitude…south of the Panama canal in Medellin and international shipping into/out of Colombia can be challenging to say the least!

Back in the '00s I worked for a very small company that made a specific medical test device. I built two of them for:

Shipping to them seemed pretty straightforward compared to other countries we shipped to. What was odd was they wanted to pay us in advance (which made figuring out shipping cost a bit of a trick). Perhaps they needed to send payment at that time otherwise the funds may not have been available later? :D

I probably could ship internationally, I just don’t know exactly what shipping would cost on my end. You can send me a PM to explore it.

You want to ship with DHL They should take care of all the paperwork for the shipment.

Not as simple as dropping into an envelope and throwing a bunch of stamps or a printed shipping label on it? (edit, I got mixed up with what I was selling)
