Wish List - Rickenbacker bass Offerings and Features

Especially the section I've outlined, would make a LOVELY fretless fingerboard.

That panel is only a 1/4" thick piece of solid quarter sawn white oak. Are you sure it will suffice for a fingerboard?

Maybe we should cut out a section of the top of the Gustav Stickley 819 sideboard (made in 1917), it's a lot thicker to allow material to be removed when radiusing [sp] the board.

I find a master tone indispensable, and preferable to individual tone controls. There’s lots of times I don’t want ALL the treble the Rick gives.
Not sure how having 2 individual volumes AND a balance control wouldn’t be superfluous.

My tone knobs all stay all the way up. I've even removed them from a couple of my basses. The only thing I use them for on my Rickenbackers is the push-pull control.

I mean my preference with only three control holes would be two volumes and a switch. With a VVB you could set the volumes to different amounts and rapidly change between pickups for a change in volume.

Like, this bass!
