Rickenbacker toggle switch tip thread size

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about replacing the switch tip on my 4003 (with a metal one, just for aesthetic reasons and to be able to change up the look) but obviously thread sizes can vary quite a bit. Does anyone know the threading of the switch where the tip screws on?

I would assume that at least across the modern lineup the switches Rickenbacker uses are all the same in the threading (at least if I was running a business I'd only want to have to source one size of switches/switch tips).

Ask if what they are selling fits the standard-of-the-world® Switchcraft toggle switch.

I mean you say that but of my instruments with toggle switches, there are three different size/thread switch tips. The switch tips from my Rickenbackers are not compatible with my Les Paul, which isn't compatible with my explorer bass or firebird and SG. Switchcraft all use the same threading and Rickenbacker only uses Switchcraft in the modern era?

I didn't realize that Switchcraft uses different thread sizes depending on the layout of the switch. So much for compatibility!

I mean I don't know if the switches on anything but my Rickenbackers are Switchcrafts, either. My 4001 when I had it restored I got a new wiring harness so it should be identical to my 4003, which was stock when I got it and I've never replaced the harness on it. Most of my other instruments I got used and could have had any weird stuff done to the electronics and I wouldn't know.

None are Gibsons. But they don't all match each other, or my Dean, or my Peavey, or my Rickenbackers.

I checked my 460 and 481 switch tips, and they are 8-32 threads. Oddly enough, I checked the switch tip on my Epiphone JL Revolution Casino (the linited edition version), and it also is a 8-32 thread.
