Re: Are Conferences and Confluences Dead?
I've been threatening to do one here in Atlanta - the ARC ("Atlanta Rickenbacker Confluence"), please nobody steal my acronym! - but I haven't had the brain space for it. Maybe in the year to come!

Re: Are Conferences and Confluences Dead?
We have to change the acronym for our Southern California get-togethers from SCARF (Southern California Annual Rickenbacker Fest) to SCORF (Southern California Occasional Rickenbacker Fest).

J-Dog: Unfortunately, this week has not been workable for putting anything together here in SoCal - with several key participants being unavailable.jdogric12 wrote: Wed Dec 31, 2025 11:46 pmI think we fly out Sunday.8mileshigher wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 3:17 amJ-Dog, will you be in the SoCal vicinity during that weekend, Sat-Sun (Jan 31 Feb 1st) ??

We cancelled our trip for a few reasons. Maybe in the future.

Not anymore. It's been a long time since we've had any instrument related event. Circumstances have made it harder to organize one.doctorwho wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2025 11:57 pm Here in SoCal, we were having them so often that we kinda got burned out on them ... but it would be nice to have one like the old days, with instruments displayed.![]()
