It was a vintage shirt, if you remember, there was a time when John said some things that were taken out of context about the Beatles being more popular than Jesus, and then a lot of radio stations had Beatle record burnings and such, I believe it is from that time.

Thanks! Makes perfect sense, I was maybe 10 or 11 years old during that time frame and I remember all the fallout and news reports burning Beatles records and I think I saw a placard that say's "Stamp out Beatles" on an Anthology DVD during a segment on that situation.. Have to go back and check it out again

I'm a little late to the picnic but I just picked up a copy of the DVD and watched it for the first time last week. I thought it was Fab and insightful. The double guitar slide solo stuff sent chills down my spine!

The old Fender Amps were very visable. I wasn't sure if that Ric was THE guitar but I know now that it is from reading this thread. I was hoping to see "Rocky" too but it didn't make it. Maybe the reason no one played the Ric was that no one could tune it up properly? ;) JUST KIDDING!

Rocky was actually played.
I can't remember what song, or who plays it, but he gets like 2 seconds of camera action and you can see it there.
If I get around to it I'll figure out what tune for you...

Patrick- Can't believe I missed it. I must have blinked! That would be cool if you could tell me what song it was in.

Well I don't blame you for missing it...
It gets used during My Sweet Lord.
The guy (don't know his name) is sitting down next to Billy Preston at the end of the stage. There's only a few times you can actually see him.

Here's the best shot I could get.

Awesome! Thanks so much for posting a still of it. Yea, I don't know who that guitarist is either. Very cool that Olivia brought some of George's guitars along.

I just Googled his name, he played with Clapton alot and apperently with George too.

He's a really good player, he did some great solos for the show. I just never knew who he was.
