I'm not giving a "real" review until I get my Sunn 2x15 cab to go along with my Ampeg SVT head and get a real chance to "listen" to it....
...BUT, just playing mine through a couple of cheap , junky, ******, no bottom end havin', distortin' , scratchy, cuttin' in & out on me Peaveys and Fender Bassman 60's, it STILL sounds awesome! PLUS, it's BIG, VERY BIG!!

When I had D'Addario XLs on mine, I could easily get a Squire/Lee tone out of it. These days I use Chromes for a somewhat mellower but quite growly tone and to save any additional wear on the original frets.
The neck on mine is the thinnest I have ever played with the exception of the FG 4005WB that Chris Pappas is soon to get, which feels just like my 4005WB. The playability is quite amazing, with a nice flat neck and low action.
