ImageHey Jeff,
If memory serves, I believe it was written by Bruce S. I forgot which album the song was in though. Manfred Mann covered it a few years later.

Springsteen wrote both Spirits in the night and Blinded by the light though Manfred Mann's versions are better known.

Though my metal and screamo days are over, here are some (working) pics back when I was a gigging bassist (2-3 years ago):

Me playing at the famous, but closed, L'amours in Brooklyn, NY, 5/02.

A great picture of me in the middle of flipping my hair up, Dock Street Bar & Grill, Staten Island, NY, 12/02.

Playing "lead bass" at the Lion's Lair, Staten Island, NY, 11/03.

And some recent pictures of my playing live with my 330, Dock Street, Staten Island, NY, 1/05.

John -

Sweet pics. Makes me wish I had a RIC when I was wearing spandex at the Troubador.

P.S.: I think you need one more pedal.

::m:: (Who will post a pic of himself playing his RIC as soon as his RIC is done!)

Hahaha!

I play mostly ambient/shoegaze type music, so i'd really be nowhere without lots of delay, pitch shift, and some modulation. One more pedal would be cool - a Janglebox, for those McGuinn moments.

Who are you ticked at , Jaymi....Image

Looks like that drummer is on the verge of a "wood shampoo".....or more appropriately, a RIC shampoo..

John: Great gigging photos. You really must get a few more pedals though. Image
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
