Unusual 1996 Ric 360/12 Mcquinn Model

Post by pdbamberg »

My wife gave me a RM360/12 in Fireglo for Christmas of 1996. She bought the guitar new at Alpha Music in Virginia Beach VA. The hang tag says RM360/12, the dealer said that's what it is. I even sent a letter to Rickenbacker explaining the guitar and tags in great detail, and they said the same thing in writing. Personnally, all the Roger Mcquinn models Ive ever seen or read about were 370 models, with and without onboard electronics. The guitar looks and feels like a 1965 360/12, complete with checkerboard binding, toaster style pickups, full width fretbaord markers etc. Does anyone out there have one of these or ever seen something like this.
Sincerely

Sounds cool. How about some pics? That would help.

Does it have 2 or 3 pickups? What is the S/N (Date code)?
