ALways wondered about this guitar...heard stories it was stolen once (or maybe that wasn't the same guitar)...if this is his the serial number is supposed to be FF1849, I think, but didn't see any mention of the serial number on the site.

I'm pretty sure this guitar was on Ebay a while back, with a BIN of something like $250,000US. Not sure what became of it from there. Here's a link with more photos and info:

This is a gorgeous guitar and certainly allows those who seek to own a piece of Folk Rock music history the opportunity to do so.

There aren't many opportunities to own a celebrity instrument. Outside of a Beatles' Rickenbacker this may be next in line as the most famous.

I suppose it is only a matter of time before this McGuinn model will fetch a handsome sum. Just how handsome is the question.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Couldn't help but notice on the same auction site of McGuinn's 370 was the auction of Harrison's 12 string Harpitone. Harpitone? Didn't know he had one, maybe someone can enlighten me. According to the auction he bought it around the time of the White Album and used it for a number of years before it came in the hands of Badfinger.
