Desert Gold ?

Post by lowendbob »

Everybody has FG,MG,JG,MB,BB. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone on this forum that has a 4003 in desert gold.
If anyone has one, please post some pics, and give us your thoughts on this finish.
Buy it before someone else does.

I don't have any particular thoughts one way or other, it either moves you or it doesn't. But here's a pic of my former DG4003:

BTW, I sold it because someone wanted it bad enough to overpay for it, and that gave me money for something else.

I think desert gold would rock with black trim and binding.

Dont get me wrong guys, I like the white trim also. Image

Mike Parks has a 4003 DG with black trim still in stock listed on his website.

Kinda like this Scott? Sorry - I'm bored :-) (I wasn't going to try the binding though...)

I think that black and gold look great together.

Yep, that was me Ken. It was really great talking to you that day. You should stop by the store again, Russ is getting some BBR's eventually, but he has a Monty Brown and a Blue Boy 4003 in stock.

Ron,
Where did you get a gold nameplate?? I'm converting the pickguard to gold on my Monty Brown and would LOVE a gold TRC to match.
