Hey Paul...?

I've actually sent a reply to you, hmm, mustn't have sent properly. Bloomin new email client!

I'm not really into black trim at all, I just don't like it. I'm on the lookout for a JG with Chrome, ideally. Mike has one on his page, which I've started putting funds aside for.

Thanks for the offer, anyway - really cool that you emailed me. Image

I noticed your TR Cii pics... man, sleak... really gorgeous. TR is the ultimate Cii colour, isn't it. Image

A peek under the hood reveals a simple yet effective control cavity. Thankfully, there is no preamp. I prefer passive electronics. I might eventually change out the p/u selector switch and make it v/v/t or replace the switch with a p/u blend control pot.

I think they look rather daft on the Cheyenne II, I mean - the bass is intended to keep that classic Ric 4000 shape but in a modern, minimalised subtle way to suit the whims of 21st century design.

What was up with the original gold nobs?? Image

I think the metal knobs are recreations of the ones used on '50s Rickenbackers.
