Finish repair

Post by boompiday »

I recently dinged the headstock on my mint Rickenbacker 360-6. It caused a 3/8 inch crack on the paint and clearcoat. It's actually a very minor blemish but it kills me to see this defect in an otherwise perfect guitar. Any idea where I can get this repaired in Southern California and a ruff idea of the cost?

There are plenty of great repair shops in Southern Calif .

They need not be Rick experts.

Talk to guys that work in smaller shops .Where in Southern Calif are you ?

That is a big area !
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!

I'm in EL Segundo. Right next to LAX Airport.

One of the best in Southern California is Steve Soest, if you don't mind the drive down to Orange.

Soest Guitar

Really nice guy, former RIC employee, with a sober background. The biggest problem you'll have with him is that he's very busy due to his high demand.
