No personal cheques, no bank cheques, no paypal, no overseas bidders, no low feedback bidders. Postal orders only!
Does this chap want to sell this gtr. He's cut just about everybody out of the bidding. Wouldn't he get a better price if he lightened up a bit?
I sent an email to a chap selling three hi-gains on the bay, but he wouldn't send them to the UK. I know it's a lot of effort...sticking them in a jiffy bag & ticking a couple of boxes...the result...they went unsold.
Why sell on ebay if you are terrified....there are just some of us buyers who are honest!

'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.
Tony,
I've already made the same offer to Shaun, if there's something Ric related that is a "must have" I'd be happy to help aquiring it here and then ship it on to you in the UK.
This offer is open to any of the UK folks.
If you want to try emailing the seller and see if he'd sell them let me know.

Only if the Scots should develop sheep of mass destruction. Pray that never happens or "W" will be on your butts like a dirty diaper!
So you are from the UK Jim? For some reason I have always applied a bit of a british accent to your posts even though your posting address is 4.x.x.x. That network space is assigned to the Americas. Verizon, I would guess as they own much of the bottom end of the 4.0.0.0 network. Antony Carey posts from a European address 81.0.0.0 so he is easier to figure out without looking at his profile info. Wints posts from a US network too.

Originally yes Ted, left Scotland in 79, and left UK for good in 89.
You're right the 4. class A is Verizons, and I'm in Southern California ... Wints is in Florida I think.
I do wish Peter would hide or drop the IP address, or at least the last pair of octets from our posts
Although you're only seeing my NAT gateway, I've never been comfortable with our IP addresses being posted publicly. A simple trace or reverse lookup gives out way too much information for my comfort.
At one time when I was a SBC DSL customer in Dallas a DNS lookup would spit out my home address and phone , it took me ages to get SBC to stop posting the owner data.
