Where can I buy original spec. wiring materials for my 1989

Post by ric12os »

I have a 1989 325 with "butchered" electronics, and I'm trying to restore it to original. I have all the original parts, but the shielded pickup leads were replaced with unshielded wire, and the capacitor leads are missing the original yellow colored nonshrinkable insulator tubes (I think Rickenbacker used yellow insulator tubes in 1989). Were can I buy original Rickenbacker spec. shielded pickup lead wire and insulator tubing from? I've searched everywhere locally!

You only need to get some AWG #22 shielded cable and that can be had by calling any electronic supply house (at least here in the USA) .

Even 'Radio Shack' might have it ,and I never go there.

The capacitors are available at the same type of places .

They won't necesssarily look the same ,but they will do the job.

Look in the Yellow pages telephone book if you are in the USA ....there must be a similar thing in Europe .
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
