If only you could walk into a music shop here in the UK and see a 4004, your lucky enough nowadays if you see any Ricky bass, theyre not stocked as much as they use to be! I have to get my fix on here or ebay if any pop up!

haha! Well if they were selling out to Fender or something equally as bad none of us would have known about it ahead of time that's for sure.

Paul, my posting after Howard's Deep! was a coincidence.

Just rub salt into my wounds Bob! :-) You guys are so lucky over there in the US, you have a bigger crop to pick from than we have here, and definitely a much better and bigger chance to get hold of a 4004 without ordering one!

Bob, I know. Howard and I just get goofy once in awhile. No slight intended.

Ok, here is my best guess. I say that a large display or business will feature something Rickenbacker in it on a very grand scale.

It may be just a good old fashioned good news success story of an american company that didn't farm its jobs overseas ...

It's not a new technology, well, not ours anyway... It's all good, maybe even hilarious.

I've got it! JH has purchased the technology responsible for Max Headroom and will be turning Kenny Howes into Virtual Kenny, who will be available to answer questions 24/7/365 worldwide!

Gibson introduce a guitar with an ethernet interface a while back. Perhaps something like that is in the offing from RIC?

Is that an announcement or a fantasy, Dale?
