you have a confirmed order, which probably means they'll charge you CC when they ship the product.

Common with internet retailers like Amazon...

My issue with them wouldn't be the charge, but the fact they confirmed in writing selling me an in stock item.

Probably won't get very far, but we'll see. I love pushing buttons.

BTW, charging the credit card ONLY when shipping the item is the law.

Jared, you're right, I probably have nothing. This is a glitch in the system. This isn't a special order or unique item however, it's an in stock closeout. When the order was taken, it should have been removed from their inventory and it wasn't.

Most savvy etaillers have provisions in their user terms that allow them to cancel orders due to website errors. Amazon has done that to me a few times when I found well priced stock.

The real funny thing was that the system was going to allow me to order 10 if I wanted. Maybe there's a method to their madness. This instrument was a strange situation, but in a more normal world, my order would have been a back up for a return and/or cancellation.
