Yup, nothing wrong with that. How would it look with gold pickkguards, I wonder?

I've got gold on the brain.

Saw a picture of a turquoise 381v69 somewhere on the net but do you reckon I can find it?

Was I dreaming again?

Howard, the music connection has one. But it's a 12. What a shame!

Not.

Where does one get a gold pickguard and TRC?

www.pickguardian.com for the, you guessed it - pickguard.

And for the gold TRC, you'll need to send your old one to Rickenbacker for exchange, plus, there's a surcharge.

Give them a call.

That's a lovely guitar Tony, up for auction too. I'm this close to buying it off you and claiming to the missus that my hand slipped!

I'd love to keep it Tavis, but I have just bought a 1997 & a battered 330 & with a reissue on the way, something has to give!
It's going to be one of those that I'm going to regret....God I love Rics...I want them all!

...hmmm...maybe I should have ordered my 4004/5Cii in turquiose, that would have been a rare find, and I'm sure it would have been a beauty.

I am seriously thinking of pulling my turquoise 330 from ebay. I am going to do a gig with it tonight which will be a first, as it has only been used in the studio & at some band rehearsals. My bass player is giving me major grief, as it's his favourite for both looks & sound. Problem is, that I can't part with any of my others either.
Does anyone know a way of keeping them ALL?

Can you believe this....Got back from the gig tonight to find an email with a deal which meant that I could keep my tur 330 & was just about to pull the auction when at 1am somebody used BIN! I can't back out. What's the chances of that...another 5 minutes & it would have been pulled.
He does sound like a very decent sort though, so perhaps I should be happy at that.

Bad luck, Tony. If he's a local he may give you visiting rights!

I'm pretty sure there was a 330TQ at a dealer here in Melbourne last year but they had a fire. If it survived it's probably now black/turquoise burst! Must ask them what happened to it......

As for the color Turquoise, I just purchased a brand new 330-12 in turquoise and I really love the color. I remember seeing them at the NAMM show when they were introduced but I waited and waited to get one. It was not an easy find and this really surprised me.

It wasn't me, despite the missus saying "Go on, get it".

Followed, a couple of minutes later, by "after all, we don't need food, do we?".

Women.
