Anyone get a 360/12c63 yet?

Don't forget to strip the finish when you put those hi-gains on. Those extra 6 strings are kind of annoying too.

How about this one guys? They don't come any nicer. We should all have one of these in our home. You can't help but fall in love with this finish. Thanks for this great photo Tom.

Okay, I have a question.
The pics of the C63 in it's case sent to Peter by Tom Fowler show a guitar with a slightly longer trapeze tailpiece than the one shown on the guitar setting on the stand just above my post here. Anyone know what's up with this? Or, are my eyes playing tricks on me?? This IS the same guitar, right? Maybe it's just the angle of the pic...

Lefty: As far as I know, they are photos of the same guitar. It is the angle at which the photo was taken that is fooling your eye. Without getting into guitar forensics too deeply, the shading and grain are the same in both photos.

Is it available in Blueburst? And no, this is not a question designed to make people laugh. I love the bound look of the 330 series body, and as 360v64s are not available is there a chance then by the end of the year supply will have been met and this insturment will be available in Blueburst?
"Here he is, come to pay homage to the Rickenbacker display!" (Said to me by owner Bruce at the "Great House of Guitars" in Rochester, NY)
I'm thinking that it probably won't .

Scoobster28: From the Rickenbacker Site,
By definition then, the Blueburst finish is not an option for this model."Created to exact original specifications of the world’s most popular 12-string electric guitar, the 360/12C63 is an accurate replica of the guitar George Harrison made so famous. Complete with double-bound body, trapeze tailpiece, and unique Rickenbacker 12-string headstock, the 360/12C63 is true to the 1963 version in every aspect— down to the shading on the Fireglo finish."

Tom, if you don't mind e-mailing me some too: [email protected]
Not to detract from this, but I certainly don't know this is the first customer delivery in the U.S. There's certainly lots of people who don't post here that could have received instruments. No question about being the first here though.
Actually you can choose from three colors for this guitar- Fireglo, Fireglo, or Fireglo. But I bet we'll make a Jetglo one from time to time for obvious reasons.
