Rescuing Roadkill

Post by glennlewis »

I have a soft spot in my head for abused Rickenbackers.... I'll never explain it in a way that my wife will understand it. Oh well, it keeps me out of trouble.

Some guitars are so screwed up that they can only be improved. And it's a good learning experience.
I've added this page to my site. Your comments and advice are greatly appreciated.

Great story, very interesting, Glenn.

Can't wait to see the final product.

Closer to final product..... It's getting there.
At least I'm not embarassed to take it out in public anymore. I played it in church today, and had several people ask "is that the same guitar?" remembering how awful the original looked last month.
