I am B. I play on the weekends and am an architect by day. Used to be A, a LONG time ago!

I'm sometimes A and sometimes B, little bit of D and would shoot myself if I were C, haha! (sorry Howard) And I'm my own E and my own grandpa.

Thanks, Bob!! Know how to hurt a guy, don't you!! At least as a C I've got good gear to play with. A lot of Cs would probably think a Rickenbacker was some sort of back brace!!

Maybe B should be 'lounge room Lennon' (not LEMON!!) instead of 'hopeful'.

How can you be sometimes A and sometimes B?

Judging from the above exchange, I think the answer to my original question would be:

I'm b, heading for a. Been a great day today. I've lost weight, arranged to audition two singers later this week to get the new band up and rolling, played with my new FX pedal, and settled on a song list for my first album of original songs.

I'm pretty much a C and D, keeping up with my academic rating.

Used to be an A, now just an old B. I'm sure I'll flirt with the C before finally settling into my true calling as a D.

I'm certainly in "B" with no real thought of "A".

Good stuff, Lee. Those sort of days give you a much bigger high than anything else can!!

About two years as an A, and the other 37 or so as a B -- never was a C ... and D? No way. Guitars are made to be played not just stuck in a case somewhere.

Hey Lee - I wish they'd all go like that!!

I'm an "A" - which explains why I'll never be a "D".

As usually is the case, I find myself in "none of the above" because of lack of completeness of the list.

I consider myself first a hobbyist guitarist (and a hack bass player), second a collector. I refrain (no pun intended) from calling myself a "musician" simply because (1) I can't read music, and (2) I know nothing about music theory ("... scales? aren't they on fish?").
