Reminds me of the Trashcan Sinatra's video for 'Hayfever'. Nice work. Sort of Goodnight Moon in hue.

Thanks for all your comments chaps. My art is the type that you either love or hate, but thankfully, a lot of people love it! I have attracted the attention of two world wide fine art publishers with my work, but it wont happen yet....being a pro musician might not pay as well, but I'm not ready to give it up yet.

Joey...a bass is planned soon..a v63 perhaps.
Jaymi...these paintings are quite time consuming. My paintings are not the cheapest in the world, but are affordable to the average person, so they are not too expensive either. The time involved in multiple instruments would probably make the painting too expensive.
Gary...that is a good title actually, because as you might imagine, FG was not the easiest colour to render. As an artist, JG & MG do not make for colourful paintings (although they will be done shortly), but FG is tricky, but great. I spent a long time deciding how to approach it, so that title is very apt.
Paul...if one, or part of my image or design can be used on forum merchandise, then just email me what you want. Obviously I would be delighted to be part of it.

'STUDY IN FIREGLO' it is then, as named by Gary Clauson....thanks Gary, this will be noted on the canvas frame!

“Study in Fireglo” is a great title – but looking back at the painting I can see where Peter is coming from – “When You Come Home” She just sits patiently waiting for ….

Tony a 4001V63 would be great. Let me know if you need some pics for the subject.

Tony, how do you sell your work? I think that "Study in Fireglo" would look great in my home. Of course, there are probably several others with the same thoughts.

I sell my paintings either through art galleries, or privately. I am hasselled by galleries to supply them with paintings every now & again & it is good because they help to spread your name around. However, most of my paintings at the moment are sold privately, only because I do not paint a vast amount, so normally a couple of emails to regular collectors does the trick (a local gallery will have to have a couple soon though, because they have advertised me in a national paper, claiming that they stock my paintings).
I am a little naughty & I admit this only because I suspect there are no gallery owners reading this, but my price is a great deal cheaper privately. I will NEVER go behind a galleries back by selling it privately to one of their clients, but untill it is in their hands....it's mine!
This painting is available at the moment (it needs to be photographed & then varnished) & if any one is interested, then email me. This particular painting would cost £400GBP + shipping. The gallery price would be around the £700/£750 mark. Although my work comes across as 'simplistic', it is painted to a professional standard, using layers to achieve the colour that I want. This painting represents a little under a weeks solid work.

Please don't think that I posted this for self promotion....I didn't. I just thought that some of you may have been interested!

Tony, I think that this painting will have found a home with someone in this Forum very soon, now that everyone realizes how reasonable your prices are! And you've found a market here too...I wonder if you'll ever saturate it?

Thanks Paul. My work sells for up to £1000 in galleries, but I only see a percentage of that. I only want a weeks wage for a weeks work! Prices achieved for my paintings have gone up during the last year or so & I am under some pressure to paint a lot more. I am a pro musician though & I am just not ready to give that up yet, even though I might be slightly richer!

Are you under obligation to supply them because of their representation of your relationship? I mean, I could advertise that I'm a RIC dealer, but that doesn't make it so - and I very much doubt that John Hall would send me any guitars.

I am not under obligation to supply them, but they did have some paintings & sold them before the advert appeared. It is more of a moral obligation really. They took my paintings in, sold them & are advertising my name. I am not a 'famous' painter, so I apreciate the publicity & feel that this is a two way thing.

Thanks everyone. 'Study in Fireglo' has been sold, along with the 320 that's next in the series to a UK forum member....THANKS.
The next in the series is a bass, followed by a Ric acoustic (I wish).
