Protype is the word I should have used instead of concept. The fact is that a guy who says he isn't stupid should use better grammar and spelling. I don't care if he's mad because it won't change anything except get the rest of us all worked up. Just chill already. We all had to wait. I don't intend to be disrespectful, but we have a good thing here and we have lost john Hall once. We can't afford that again. RIC has the right to run the business the way thaey want and you have the right to get your money back. Please! Everyone...have a good day. It's a beautiful one at that. All the best!

We've already been through all of this with the 360C63s. Jeeze, man.

JH said "so much work has been required to get it on to the factory floor"

Have you ANY idea what is involved? Think about it.

He even personally posted here in an attempt to help placate you. He doesn't have to do that, you know. You say you have a 325C58? What's wrong with that one? Play it while you wait.

This is a continuing and obsessive RANT, complete with irritating intermittent punctuation, overabundance of exclamation points, and lack of capitalization and sentence structure.

Nick, be patient or get a refund! If you think you're waiting too long, get your money back, play your C58, and wait for a Miami to turn up at a dealers' or on eBay!

Three posts and the RANT is just now gaining steam. You don't get support by giving peace- and Rick- loving folks a load of vitriol with their morning coffee. Guy joined just to complain.

Grumble, grumble.

Nick. You got off to a rough start. We know you are frustrated. I was frustrated with my wait as well. But I learned that this is how RIC operates, and they operate this way to get things right. In all honesty, they deserve our thanks for the care and love they put into their instruments. You also have to appreciate that John Hall comes on here and bears his soul and speaks his mind and answers our questions and, sometimes, our moans and groans.

Without the care and dedication to detail, we would probably be playing the "B" series take II.

I guarantee that the wait is worth it. I know because I waited for all 4 of the "C" series instruments for a while and they are nothing but spectacular.

Nick... try a couple of other threads and get back on track my friend. You will find no better group of people to share thoughts and ideas with. Stay well.

Nick: Just remember when there was no such thing as the C series! Nothing, nada, zippo, zilch...

Thank you John Hall and the C series team for making dreams come true!

Nick,

Why don't you tell us about your 325C58. Tell us what you like and what turns you on about these guitars. Do you own other RIC's? If you do, let us hear about those.

hi all sorry for the bitching won't again i love rickenbacker and mr.hall for the c series. my c58 is absoulet the finest instrument i have ever played. it is a remarkable piece of work and detail. and the beatle lennon sound is all there. plus it is beatiful to look at. nothing in the world looks like a 325.and the ease of playing it. and yes i do own a 4003 rick bass in fireglo. it is 10 yrs old. and looks still brand new, i do play bass also. and as far as the c64 miami to me that is the holygrail of all guitars. as u all know the c64 miami was the guitar to trek alllll those miles during beatlemania, is that not enough of a anwser why the miami. peace all nick.

I very much appreciate this post Nick. Welcome. I would be interested in learning what amp you play this through. Also, some folks find the fretboard a bit tiny at first. Did you find this? Can you post a photo or send one along to me to do it on your behalf?
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I looked for the 325C64 Miami at Musicians Friends website tonite and it says "This model has been discontinued". It that because of the recent development with Guitar Center?

This question has been brought up before. According to Mr. Hall there should be no problem with MF, they act like a separate entity of GC. I never found what you are talking about on the MF site but others have.
