I think a limited number of signed and numbered "Forumite only" copies should be available! Or maybe a signed "Paul Boyer" pickguard with every book! Image

Count me in for a copy, as well as contributing any pictures of my babies, including my 1977 4000 FL BG.

Paul, here's a start on the prologue:

Prologue

It started out innocently enough in 2005 when I posted a message on the Rickenbacker Forum:

Yes I would help in any way I could, Paul Yan and I both have 72 4001FLs, although there probably are some older I've never heard of any.
I've also got a mint Sea green.

Paul.....it seems that if you do this book and don't include at least one picture of each bass owned by a forumite you may be in for a lynchin'.....BTW I have a beautiful JetGlo '98 4003s8 for your consideration along with just your basic run of the mill '97 4003MID and '93 4003MG..... Image

A great idea , Paul......I have some interesting stuff I would be more than happy to contribute!!

...but I think we should check with JH first, to see if perhaps he may already have something planned.

Sounds like a great idea - hopefully you could work with Ric on this!

Check out Mani's 4005 that has been pollocked!

And you know you just have to get a picture in of Jeff's sofa :p
Tell me does it feel the same when you've set upon a change but your heart's in the old times?

Great idea!
I'm in for one copy, and like all the other generous forumites, you can use a picture of my V63!Image

You can put in a chapter of "Babes with Ricks", or
it could be a joint effort with Victoria's Secret!
Each picture would be of the bass being lovingly held by a model.Image

I'm brand new here (hi y'all) and I'm a proud owner of a jetglo 1973 4001. I'd buy a copy of the book in a heartbeat.
