Tele with Ric-O-Sound

Post by wmthor »

I came across this interesting concept, tele body & neck, Gretsch Filtertron pickups, Bigsby, and Ric-O-Sound.

I wonder if there's a serial # on the jack plate?

When I was considering a Gretsch G6128T-1962 and mentioned on that forum that the Bigsby appealed, this same guy suggested that I buy a Tele and put one on it. Geez - it's a shocker, that thing!

I will give the "creator" of that guitar credit for creativity, as well as for skill in getting such disparate parts to work together.

You should check out the rest of his website - there's a nice 1997 there, along with a bunch of other cool instruments.

The 1997 with a Bigsby does look nice.

Personally, I think there's some cool stuff there.
You want to put that where?
