Where to buy a Rick 4004 bass in Philadelphia?

Post by crazypink »

Maybe some one can help, I have a mate who lives in Philadelphia and he wants to try and purchase a new Rick 4004. Does anyone know a music shop where he might be able to purchase one from, or at least to try one out? He's in a band there called Plastic Eaters http://www.plasticeaters.com

Try John Slog's Guitar Villa shops in Quakertown or Nazareth. Not in Philly, but within a 1 hour drive north.

Because my mate Stan is working most of the time when his band isnt playing, failing Philly, he travels up to New York for rehearsals once a week, so that might be another option, Im in the UK so will have to pass the info to him. But thanks both of you. Maybe someone will know if theres anything in or between New York and Philly.

There is nothing between NY and Philly, just a big, empty void. Image

A big empty void between Philly & NY? What are you talking about man? I was born & raised in that big empty void. Not to mention that you've got the armpit of America, a.k.a. New Jersey, in there!

Hey, Hey, Im still in the armpit Image. The lovely Jersey shore. Like Jared said we have Pick of the Ricks in Berlin, not to far from Philly, and The Guitar and Bass Center in Edison.

How about a nice blue one?

I'm not familiar with what these usually go for, but the price seems pretty nice!

Does anyone know how much in $ the 4004L is to buy new? As my mate stan might go for this, as he's in the middle of recording a new single and some tracks for a new album. If anyone's interested his bands website is http://www.plasticeaters.com

I think the 4004L's run about $1225 or so new.
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.
