I thought about it because I have not had a standard JG Rick bass for a few years. Nice grab Sean. It looks very nice!

1980, according to the TC number provided. It appears to be in excellent shape.

What seems odd, and maybe it's because of my lack of knowledge, but didn't the early 4003 nameplates say 4003 on them?

Congrats and enjoy the 4003 Sean. I had two 4003's from 1981, they both had 4003 on the TRC's.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

It is amazing how often you see stringing like that. Is it really that hard to get it right?
