Patience, Grasshopper! In the meantime, think Ricks with Chicks (Bob Guccione would be proud).

Yeah, that's it! You figured it out. And not only that it is a "CUSTOM SHOP"!!!

The reason it is in the computer mags is that it is a virtual on-line shop like what Status Graphite is doing with their Smart Bass.

I'm thinking it's an advertisement for IBM middleware products, probably with a picture taken in the Ric factory. That's IBM's print ad campaign these days -- advertising IBM middleware with the tag line "Can you see it". The print ads will generally show a factory, a street corner, or something like that with a lot of people doing different things. Then there will be "numbers" marking several of the people to indicate that whatever they are doing is being aided by IBM technology -- looking at their computer, shipping something, reading the paper, talking on the phone, whatever.

All the clues point to that -- "Can you see it", the word "blue", "Fender is to HP as Rickenbacker is to ____", and the pics that were linked to in a previous post were all IBM ads.

So, I am thinking we'll see the inside of the Ric factory (or office or maybe John Hall's house) with a whole slew o' Rics plugging IBM.

Now if I'm right, can I get my 360-12C63 shipped to me faster?

I'm guessing it's a celebrity holding a Ric and endorsing a technology solution. Could be Paul McCartney with his 4001 or Catherine Zeta-Jones with a 12-string.

With all due respect to Beatles and McCartney fans (of which I am one)... I'm hoping it's Catherine Z-J.

Some people think it's fun to be three, too...
