I think that says "Tanakabacker". I'm sure it is really rare!

The strap button placement and the horn shapes suggest it is a faker.

The seller says he bought the bass from the bass player from Fireball Ministry (Janis Tanaka).

She's well known for playing Rics and so it's possible thats it's real I suppose with a replacement TRC....or is it likely to be a faker?

Either way I think it's quite cool if your sirname is Tanaka and it rhymes with backer and you have a customised TRCImage

The picture looking down the neck seems to show that the neck heel does not extend all the way to the back surface of the body. It could be a set or bolt neck. I am guessing it is a faker.

"She any good?"

Not too sure Henny...I've heard OF her but not heard her.
I believe she played in a couple of other bands...L7 and Pink...havn't heard them either ,but she looks really cool with the Ric.
