Personally, I'm not keen on gold hardware, but I must say that it certainly goes well with this one. Very nice!

Cheyenne IIs are like, the sleakest, sexiest bass.. EVER.

Lovely.

Is it me, or are these getting REALLY popular?

Sure is purty. Image

Not sure how popular they are getting in general, but in this crowd, yes they are catching on. In some ways I hope that the masses continue to miss this model...their loss.

And I'd think I'd amend your contention Mark. to cover all 4004's, although in general the Cheyenne's are more striking than the Laredos.

But I still think my Fireglo 4004L stacks up well to any Cheyenne. Image

I think they are starting to get popular Henny, I just wish I had the money to buy it, what makes it worse is that its on my doorstep in the Uk and not the US or Europe, and its a really good price too!

Eh, Ed mate!

Sorry, I DID actually mean 4004s in general, (I was enwrapped in what he was saying on the 'bay page)

Your FG 4004 is bloomin beautiful, especially the flamed stripe.

My next bass is a Laredo, JG, with gold hardware. It'd work well with the C, being brighter and all.

Ive definitely got withdrawal symptoms from not having a bass for ages, and its made worse buy seeing all of the beautiful 4004's on here! I'll get there, I just have to be a bit patient! Ive been tempted to sell my car to buy one I have to be honest! Which would buy me 2 or even 3.

Henny, youve not been tempted to buy a 2020 or 2060, if you found one have you, being that the necks (in feel) and the electronics are meant to be identical to the 4004's!

LOL - Man, you've got it *baaad*. Image

2020/60s - Not really mate.

I'm a sucker for the 4000-shape.

I'd sure try one out, though.

That's a cool one Warren.

And by the way...the Cheyenne II that started this thread...WOW! I have a Cheyenne I that I'd gladly trade in on it.
